We will be taking some glances in the rear view mirror
this season, looking back some years ago each time during a period
of the season and see what the action was like back at that time
and who some of the stars were. In two installments we will
take a look back at what was the center of the prep indoor scene
in California for a number of decades, the Al Franken directed
Prep Indoor affairs that for a number of years had Sunkist as the
sponsor. All
the athletes were given Sunkist t-shirts, with those the most often
seen shirts across the state during the rest of that winter and
spring season. We will start today with a bit of a history
quiz with help from some great photographers and see who can
come the closest, or like Brian Butler amazed us the last time
with his 100% score on distance
types
of
the period,
and name
the
following stars of that 1993 Sunkist Indoor Meet. We will
follow with the answers and a summary of what was another great
competition in that series.
